Processing location and uploading
Images to PDF, merging, splitting and organizing run only in your browser. PDF to images defaults to on-device processing; server conversion starts only after you review the upload notice and press its button. Selecting a file or viewing a preview does not upload it.
File and job limits
The four browser-only tools support 50MiB total and 200 pages. Image/PDF combining accepts up to 100 files; splitting and organizing accept one PDF. Images support 16 megapixels each and 64 megapixels total. Output is capped at 128MiB and processing at two minutes. Browser PDF-to-image downloads use batches of 25 pages or about 64MiB. Server conversion accepts up to 200MiB and 500 selected pages, with up to 20 upload, queued and processing jobs combined. Speed depends on the document and device.
Cancel, refresh and retry
Cancel stops browser processing. Jobs cannot be restored after refreshing, changing language or closing the tab. Save results before changing files or settings, which releases previous download links. Server cancellation takes effect after the request arrives and any in-flight receive or processing ends. A lost connection may prevent immediate cancellation.
Retention, deletion and downloaded files
Temporary browser inputs and previews are released on file removal/replacement or page exit. Server originals are deleted after success, failure or cancellation. Results expire after 60 minutes and are deleted on the next one-minute cleanup cycle. Abandoned upload pieces are cleaned after 60 minutes without changes. Cleanup resumes after restart if the server is off. Downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them.
Checking results and supported features
Previews are reduced copies. Splitting and organizing copy original PDF pages; they do not save preview images as the final PDF. Mixed portrait/landscape documents keep each page’s size and existing rotation. Images to PDF fits images to the chosen paper and margins and may recompress JPGs. Password-protected PDFs, OCR, text editing and PDF compression are unsupported. Keep originals and check results for important signatures, forms and bookmarks.
